Can't update Windows 10 anymore

For some reason, all the computers at work will not update windows 10 anymore. Every time I click update they come back with the error;
"We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet."
This has been going on since the 29th of January now and I have no idea wtf went wrong.

Googling around doesn't seem to provide any useful info. The only thing I know is the boss and his son changed a couple of network switches on Tuesday, otherwise nothing else is different and the internet works fine. There were no firewalls added and no ports closed, so I am lost.

You could always run Wireshark to see what is happening when it tries to connect to the Update services.

Yep that is the problem. The article says Comcast is the primary offender and low and behold we have Comcast at work! The google dns re-route seems to fix it (at least on one computer, I have yet to add it to the others).

Who uses Comcast DNS.. it's been a failure for ever! Google dns for the win, as it's reliable 99% of the time and one of the fastest. You should set google dns at the router as well.

I would if I had access to the router. Yep, I'm the computer tech but I don't have direct access to the server room lol.

At least I can do it for each computer manually.
