Fixed Issues

Known Issues

Performance drop may be experienced while playing Fortnite with Multithreaded Rendering and DirectX® 11 API on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon® RX 6900 XT Graphics.

GPU utilization may be stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after closing games on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon™ 570.

Display may flicker black during video playback plus gameplay on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6700 XT.

Using Radeon™ Super Resolution on 2560x1600 resolution displays may produce a system hang. A temporary workaround is to set the display Scaling Mode to Full Panel.

Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.

Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.

There's no reason to skip this, it's a solid driver. There's also a driver preview we released with some performance stuff plus a sharpness slider for RSR here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-preview-may2022

Is that from this driver?

34% better lows thats pretty amazing!

Adrenalin preview driver DX11 performance improvement in Assassin's Creed Odyssey is even more impressive.

Up to 34% better Lows. 🔥

Damn looks like you guys cracked that DX 11 egg:

Ok, I had to triple check this. The impact of the Adrenalin preview driver on God of War (DirectX 11). 1080p, Ultra preset. FreeSync off, ResBar on.

Up to 41% better P1

AMD graphics driver preview offers up to 24% performance boost in DX11 games.

Crysis Remastered – at 24% gains
Total War Saga: Troy – at 17% gains
Watch Dogs Legion – at 10% gains

I like this driver it's working well.

*EDIT*
The Preview driver is working fine after I realized I had accidentally enabled SR-IOV in the bios causing all sorts of issues. Microsoft Defender did send in 2 parts of the installer for submission however.

The sharpness slider has be tilting my head a bit given that we already had an RIS slider. Maybe it's just more optimized that way? Interesting times :D
Radeon Image Sharpening and RSR are applied in different stages of the rendering pipeline - having sharpening as a slider, applied at an earlier stage than RIS, gives you better IQ.

Apparently AMD fixed some issues with their scaler, at least on the 5000/6000 series cards, that had been messing up the smoothness of VR over VirtualDesktop for some time. Until now, VD has been recommending that you stick with AMD drivers from several months ago, but now they're recommending the newest AMD drivers. I haven't gotten a chance to test yet, but others are saying it's working properly now.
