All-In-Wonder 128 Problems

Hi guys,
I'm hoping that someone out there will be able to help me. I just bought an All-In-Wonder 128 PCI card (I want to do some video capture and editing) and I've had several problems. My machine is an oldie PPro 200 and I have 128 Mb of RAM on it. I have both Windows98SE and NT4 with Service Pack 6 installed.

Problem 1) Whenever I start up an ATI TV app, I get a message that the device is not available or that some other program is using it. I run Windows98SE and I have no other apps running (I even pressed ctrl-alt-del to see the list of running programs and all I see is standard stuff like explorer etc.) I also checked the devices displayed in the control panel and there are no conflicts or 'question' marks indicating missing drivers... Everything seems OK but I cannot start the ATI TV app... I also installed WebTV for PC (from Windows98 CD) and that thing hangs too with "no RPC available) or something like that. What can I do? BTW: TV Output works fine.

Problem 2) I also have a problem with NT driver. I run it at the same resolution as Win98 desktop but NT looks 10x slower. If I try to move a window it takes a 'year' to repaint the screen. Whats wrong? BTW: Driver I have installed is 4-3-40 (latest one from ATI Web site).

Problem 3) I can't run OpenGL programs under NT... looks like there is no driver since I can't even run the OpenGL screensavers (screen is black when I run screensavers).

Please help :)

thanks.

do you have the TNT and AIW at the same time ?
if that's the case be sure to have the AIW as primary display or else you won't get the multimedia features...

Hi,

No, AIW is the only card I have in. I still haven't been able to fix any of my problems :( video is still choppy in NT and I can't even play a TV in Windows98SE. I even tried removing all of the cards I have in my PC (I thought it might be a conflict) and still nothing.

Any ideas?

Many many thanks!
