ALi AGP driver problem

I'v downloaded the new special purpose drivers H34 from ATI for my AIW128 16MBs
I have Asus P5A with latest BIOS 1007.A
When I load ALi AGP driver 1.60 the Windows stucks and monitor is black.
If I load AGP driver 1.50 everything works fine.
Does anyone have this kind of problem ?
Is there a big diffrence between 1.60 and 1.50 ?
 
If you have the ragetweak program from rageunderground.com (currently down!), try turning the hdml setting off this can help with AGP problems on ss7 boards. I have the same set up with a fury, but hvn't tried the new drivers yet, I'm using lightspeeds ss7 driver set from the rageunderground which work great.
 
Did you checked if the AGP works in the c:\windows\system\dxdiag
Because when I loaded the new video drivers under old AGP driver, DX shows that the AGP is disabled, but the old ATI drivers and new AGP driver, AGP is Enabled !!!
I'll get ragetweak as soon as rageunderground will work
 
I'v got the Ragetweaker, When I loaded it, the HMDL was disabled, I'v enabled it, restarted and everything worked fine, but I still can't get AGP to work, except using the old drivers, the old drivers can't run Quake3Arena :-(
