SIS 648FX (DNU)

Also, I didn't go anywhere else to test for the review.
Which begs the question then of just where the heck did those numbers all come from?!?

Am I getting the impression that ben2207 is the same Benjamin that made that review?

Why, yes I am!

Let me just say, that that is the second most absurd review I've ever seen anywhere. (The most absurd being from a Brazilian hardware site.. forgot the name) Congratulations.

You have just screwed over the ignorant, ticked off the knowledgable, and made a total ass out of yourself and Motherboards.org. Now, because of that review (I only say this, because I have never seen any others from you or the site that employs you) I feel that neither of you is a credible anything.

Even the companies that advertise on the site lose points in my subconcious. When I see them, in the back of my head I'll be thinking "There's something I don't like about this company".

As a matter of fact.. I'll go through the review once more, look at each ad, and make it a point to let them know what kind of place they are advertising on, and how it affects me, and possibly others attitudes towards them.

Did nVidia line your pockets? C'mon.. you can tell us!

EDIT:

Okay, after reading the thread at nVnews I have concluded that ben doesn't really know what's going on. Maybe someone h4x0red his site!

What's not concluded was.. Did someone TELL ben to put those numbers in?

OR

Did they just appear out of nowhere after he submitted the review?

This is a conspiracy... I'll put my life on it! *GRRRR*

EDIT #2!!!!

I found another review written by ben.. A Crucial 9700Pro review. I don't remember if I liked it or not, but I think I did.

http://www.motherboards.org/articlesd/hardware-reviews/1220_1.html

Anyway, I noticed that all the benchmark graphs are gone. Why could this be??? :egads:

EDIT #3...

Okay, I found the graphs.. they are all on the same page, and not on each individual bench page.. No comparisons with GeForce cards, though.. :(

I don't think anyone 'lined his pockets' - All the scores (both ATi and nVidia) are ridiculously non-representative of the actually cards.

The review is incompetent, pure and simple.

Alrighty, then. I finally got through to my editor (he was taking the weekend off for Father's Day.) All benchmarks have been rerun (3dmark scores are being rerun as we speak) and the scores are insignificantly different on everything but 3dmark. Once 3dmark scores are finished being rerun, the revised scores will be reposted.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I did try to get this fixed as soon as I was aware that he posted scores totally out of whack.

I would not work for a place that mangled my work like that, period. It was way beyond a "simple mistake" the way those scores read, or else your editor is a complete moron.

I still can't help but notice that the Ti4600 is scoring just 100 points below the Radeon 9700 in 3DMark01.

I also can't help but notice that the 3DMark03 scores were removed.

Craziness.

My crucial ownz the other 9700pro's I like that :P althought everything is thesame like the otherboards (did he overclock it since it has limited lifetime garanty :P)
