Sooo… 10900k launch will be here shortly. It looks like an extremely hot, power sucking CPU that is basically a 9900k OC'd to 5.3 out of the box with 2 extra cores. That is one seriously fast [gaming] CPU. But, are the 2 extra cores really needed? As well as no PCIE4.0, TDP issues, and Zen 4 on...

Do not buy. Had 2 out of 6 die on me in 6 months. Quick google shows an exceptionally high failure rate (bearing grinding noise after a few months). That is all.

Just a heads up that the XB270HU (144hz 1440p IPS monitor) can be overclocked to 165hz like the more expensive XB271HU, with updated firmware containing OSD version 2.5 or later. OSD version can be checked in the factory menu: :up:
