List of USB flash drives that work on XBOX 360?

Does one exist somewhere? I used the google and it returned one for Linux running on the original XBOX, not useful. I did not realize it was such a problem.

I would have thought anything that works without drivers on a Windows PC would work on a 360... Perhaps you have to format it FAT or something?

Nope, all the newer OCZ Rally2 drives that have the blue instead of the orange lights do not work. They fail with errors. I tried 4 different drives.

My other ones that work give slow performance warnings when formatting.
Edit: Just got a Sandisk and it works but slow warning....
Got a PNY Attache 3 and it works with no performance warnings etc.... found my drive.

I have a CORSAIR FLASH SURVIVOR (normal/blue, not GT/red) and it works full speed on a 360 (and I have it partitioned via the 360 utility so I can use half for 360 and half for PC stuff). Its also SOLID

My old 8GB Sandisk doesn't have the slow transfer warnings. I really don't use it on the 360 though, did test installing a few games to it. It was a slow process since it only hits like 7MB/sec write speeds. 25MB/sec read speeds and good random access rates made games play better than the crappy 20GB drive I'm replacing.

i managed to use the internal memory on my htc diamond without problems, and it didn't complain about it being slow?

the ntfs drive i had to be formatted to fat32 it told me

I used a Sandisk Cruzer 4GB USB2.0 drive and did not have any warnings.

I got my 8GB Rally2 drive to work by reformatting it. It was a FAT32 partition from the factory, reformatted it as a FAT32 again and it worked.
