NVIDIA Geforce GTS 450 Rumor/Specs Thread
Here's what I've seen so far: http://vr-zone.com/articles/nvidia-g...rked/9732.html and http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...22#post4532422 and http://nexus404.com/Blog/2010/09/01/...eptember-13th/ This is a card meant for 1280x720, 1280x1024, 1366x768, 1440x900, 1600x900 and 1680x1050 gaming. I think it'll do fine, especially for the price. I'm a little "meh" about the TDP, but it still appears to be an attractive option.

![]() The card's a dud. A GTX 460 1GB is where you want to go. |

![]() And as far as calling it a dud... it's not even released yet, it's not in regular user's hands, so there's no real-world analyses out there yet. Maybe you should hold off on judging a piece of hardware until it's actually given a fair shake?

![]() Or as someone at XS said about statements like that, enthusiast blinders on. Whether the card is good, bad or otherwise not everyone wants/needs/can afford the latest and greatest.

![]() 2 of these overclocked in SLI might slot in between GTX 470 and 480 for less coin. ![]()

![]() hmm interesting but sub 5770 performance at 5770 price .. in essence it seems to be an green supplied 5750/5770 with (Pros) Cuda based on Fermi along with (Cons) the added heat, power draw, cost and late. Not a bad card, just no better than whats already available. Now at $100-125 it would be a good buy but at $130-150 its more like a goodbye.

![]() Looks to be a card to fill out their lineup for now. Needs to be $130.00 or less though. That sounds about right for a card between a 5750 -5770 range (if you want an nVidia card). Don't think it is a dud at all, if that price is there. |
