This is one thing that I've found after moving over from AMD... while nvidia has its own driver issues, I seem to be able to force V-Sync, AF, and AA where AMD has forgotten how since RDNA.

I'll caveat this with I haven't tested Riverbond.

It's sorta broken, the ability to force AA only works in older titles. MLAA used to work on everything, but not anymore. I suppose if I really wanted I could use ReShade to apply a post AA. Of course VSR, or DSR for nVidia, would be an option.

I'm just shocked to see a game without built-in AA.

Yeah, especially one with cubes everywhere.

Was able to force 8x MSAA in nvidia CP.

Played Riverbond with my 9 year old for about 40 minutes. She had fun but me wanting to do the objectives while she busied herself with throwing crates off the edge of the world got old quick.

Epic has seemed to roll out a new Captcha barrier for free game claiming. The one I got today was really annoying. Pick the pictures of an elephant drawn with leaves, and I'm presented with 9 64 x 64 images that all look the same. Somehow got through it.

Just Die Already and Paradigm are the newest free offerings.

The worst captcha images are the ones that MIGHT have a sliver of requirement on it and you dont know if it counts towards actually being part of it or not.....(pick the imags with traffic lights on it. This one pic has a tiny corner of a traffic light...does that count?)

I have heard VPN usage can make these capcha's appear. Do you happen to use VPN and still don't get these capcha's? I don't use VPN either, and I never been given these things either.

Epic's "epic" Captchas are the shitties ones ever.

I had the "pleasure" when I was logged out, doing captchas. You have to do a calculation on dices in the 9 images or something in less than a 3 seconds etc. Passed that after like 10 minutes of trying, only to blocked by a broken captcha system. Had to retry the next day.

There were a few other ones, but after that, I decided fck epic. Steam will always be the NR 1 for me. I actually stopped buying any games after that one Epic. I will wait.

How can they not check if you have purchased items in your account, then don't captcha ?

well, all i can say is that i 1.) never had a single problem with epic and 2.) never buy games from Steam (i do activate them there, yes, but their prices are completely bonkers).

Epic game store sucks for reinstalls, why can’t I just point it at the directory with all the games and it scans them back in? You can’t even point it at the same location with out renaming the game directory and then copying the files back in while it’s downloading again. Stupid!
