I played on normal difficulty. At that difficulty you can make a lot of mistakes and still win pretty easy. The first person shooter part was challenging but fun. I probably died a lot more there. But, that's just because I still aim for **** with a controller. The main BT bosses that you must fight do not require reflexes as much as just some level of consistency. Usually if I died, I had a pretty good idea of what to do the next time and succeeded. It's a game where you can also push yourself to take out an entire camp of MULES without setting off any alarms just to make it more challenging. The harder part for me was more learning how to be properly prepared before an encounter with enemies or tough terrain. Once you become smarter with the weapons and tools the game becomes much easier. I only caused one voidout my entire playthrough though. A voidout is when you royally screw up a BT encounter. It is also a spectacular result almost worth triggering just to experience. If the game is too easy for you you can always try playing the whole game without any boots on. Seriously. You can do this but your feet will get bloody walking on rocks and frostbitten in the snow. Sam's feet can look pretty gross if you abuse them. There are so many amazing little details like this in the game. I am a geek for stuff like that is another reason I enjoyed it.

It's not a great game, but it's performance is telling for what we can expect from Zero Dawn Horizon as its the same engine.

Plus it's another title implementing both FidelityFX CAS and DLSS. So it will be interesting to see how well DLSS is implemented.

Works on any card and doesn't require an AMD GPU to use. Arstechnica used it on a 1060, as they don't support DLSS.

I like unique AAA games that buck all trends and tropes, as rare as they might be. This is one of those rare ones. Plus Kojima is my favorite game designer and I'm already fully aware of how special this game is. Sadly most players will never give it the chance it deserves.

It continues to grow in both depth and game mechanics as you play. I stuck it out spoiler free all the way to the end and found it to be a unique and amazing experience. Completely imperfect at times and rich and awe inspiring at other times.

Kojima team really know how to optimize games for pc, for that reason alone he deserves pc gamers support.

this also proves another thing IMO, that Playstation's 1st party games can actually run flawless on pc.

Fixed that for you. This is less about Kojima's Team and more about the spectacular work put in by the Decima Engine developers, making sure their engine scales well across multiple platforms.

This game is not an indicator of the potential PC performance of other ported playstation games, especially those which use engines which were developed with consoles as their primary target.
