Started watching the Defenders. I think I'm one of the few people who didn't hate Iron Fist. Of course, I do practice internal martial arts so get the whole idea of chi and the fight scenes a bit more. Even in this Defenders series, Rand is actually kicking ass and taking names, even though he is still naive in some ways.

Overall, enjoyed the first 4 episodes, will watch the other 4 in the next couple of days.

Missed about a season's worth of Arrow and Flash. Watching Gotham, Lucifer, Altered Carbon (finished), Marvel: Agents of SHIELD and The Magicians on a regular basis. Looking forward to the return of The Expanse. Enjoyed Dirk Gently a lot, a shame it didn't get another season.

Having a lot of trouble finding anything to watch, really. Started watching seasons of the original Star Trek, just because I've never really seen them. But, really struggling to get through it.

I seem to not like most shows today and stop watching after a season or several episodes. Getting hard to please as I get older.

I hate to admit it, but I'm really into This Is Us. What a great abillity to tell so many stories and piece them together.

Also The Good Doctor is great.

The Resident is ok, it's a bit mainstream, but it has potential. But I feel like even though it's a spin on the medical world (about upselling, and making money through insurance more than complicated cases), I just don't know if it's going to make it.

It's a PBS rehash, but I've been watching How We Got to Now on Amazon. Each episode looks into an important but overlooked aspect of tech and culture.

I also watched the first couple episodes of chef David Chang's new Netflix show, Ugly Delicious, which shows how seemingly pedantic food is exquisite. E.g, the first episode is about pizza (Chang is a closet Dominoes fan) and the second one is about tacos.

For a good ole network sitcom, there's Superior Donuts with veterans Judd Hirsch, Katy Segal, and David Koechner, and newcomer Jermaine Fowler.

Recently finished Brockmire, with Hank Azarea and Amanda Peete playing a washed up baseball announcer and minor league team owner, respectively.

The first season or two of Penny Dreadful were pretty good, and then it just got flat stupid.

Money Heist on Netflix... This show is pretty awesome. It's like the movie "The Italian Job" but an entire season of episodes for one heist. It's from Spain so you need to deal with subtitles if you don't speak Spanish. But, it is worth checking out:

I binged through all 6 episodes of S1 of Jean-Claude Van Johnson on Amazon Prime by Scott Free Productions. I enjoyed it a lot. (you have to be in a silly mood) Tons of self aware humor. I have to admit I enjoyed watching Van Dam kicking butt and getting his butt kicked.

A few holy crap moments and wow did he just blow himself up? Can you do that? (just remember the same matter can not exist in the same space) Worth a watch just to get Huck'd

If you're not watching The Magicians, you should. Last night's episode had a scene unlike anything I have ever seen on TV, and is worth watching just for that. They just got renewed for the 4th season. There some talented young actors in that show even though last night's show had a big help by two veteran actors. Felicia Day has guest starred in a couple of episodes this season also.

Only a few regular shows:

Lethal Weapon - started out good, still has it's moments, but I think they're losing track of what made the first episodes fun to watch.

This is Us - mellow and excellent writing. One of the few shows I've seen that tries to realistically fill in all the blanks.

Supernatural - mindless stupid popcorn blah blah

Chronicle and Mysteries at the Museum - usually fairly interesting.

I enjoyed it a lot. (you have to be in a silly mood) Tons of self aware humor. I have to admit I enjoyed watching Van Dam kicking butt and getting his butt kicked. A few holy crap moments and wow did he just blow himself up? Can you do that? Last night's episode had a scene unlike anything I have ever seen on TV, and is worth watching just for that. They just got renewed for the 4th season. There some talented young actors in that show even though last night's show had a big help by two veteran actors. Felicia Day has guest starred in a couple of episodes this season also.
