One of the games I'll definitely be testing is Kingdom Come Deliverance. Definitely a game I wanted to replay but with higher settings this time around.

yup thats a great one to test for non rtx performance. My 2080 will hit the low 30s in rattay at 3440x1440

That reminds me, before I install any 3080 card I'll load up KCD and do the same framerate tests like I did the first time around going from a 1080Ti to a 2080Ti.

I'll definitely test Rattay. If you have any other areas in mind I can do those too. Hopefully there will be plenty of performance to spare with a 3080 to crank up some settings.

What is everyone else most looking forward to from the reviews? Mainly just how much better performance they can get with Ampere over their current GPUs right?

Since I'll be upgrading from a 980 Ti I already know performance leap will blow my socks of. Not sure many reviewers will even include Maxwell cards in their benchmarks. I think I'm more curious about power draw and if my 850W PSU will be plenty good enough for my system when adding a 3080.

It will be, I don't think the card is as power hungry as the doomsayers are claiming.

I don't think NV would be handing out these testing kits to the reviewers if they had a card that requires its own nuclear reactor.

You'd need to use an EATX MB just to make the 3090 look 'normal' sized.

nV has stated that 750W is plenty good for BOTH 3080 and 3090.

I'm looking for the difference between 3080 and 3090 to see which direction I should go.

I'm only expecting 60% performance over my 1080ti for a 3080, but have no clue what a 3090 is going to be.
