![]() There is a serious issue with the 3.5 Catalysts. Items (doors, chests, wardrobes, bookshelves...) will flash in and out while they are supposed to be hidden by a wall. This never happened before with 3.4 and earlyer. No setting change with Rage3d will fix the problem. Can ATI please say something?! |

![]() Well, that's more than a little frustrating to hear. Do they at least fix Truform in Morrowind?

![]() Strange... I haven't seen any object through walls yet. I just loaded again and couldn't reproduce it. Maybe because I have AF and AA off? |

![]() I have this problem too. I have this issue occur with fountain tiles and it is most noticable then. It seems to be animated objects I think and those that are hidden behind other objects. If you go too a fountain tile and watch the base of the fountain flashes consistantly with the movement of the water coming from it. It didn't do this with 3.4 - time to uninstall 3.5 and go back to 3.4 methinks. At least 3.4 wasn't as bad. I have to say I didn't run it long enough to check to see if the RAIN and falling snow and leaves were fixed because it doesn't really matter. It's got worse instead of better. ![]() It is really sad that instead of fixing issues the ATI team seem to implement new ones. At least the Coloured boxes issue seems to be resolved. But in my opinion this issue is worse so it is back to 3.4 ![]() |

![]() Oh... I have to point out that the error appears to me on a CLEAN WinXP install (installed because I thaught that it was my system that was faulty). Why doesn't someone from ATI say something. It would be real nice if they fixed this before the 3.6 as I don't want to wait till August for a fix. |

![]() Yeah I think this deserves a hot fix. I have been waiting at least a 2 months for this game to work how it should. I know there are lots of other games and probably people having waited longer but when you see this you do consider selling your Radeon and buying an Nvidia card. I am sorry to say it but my GF4 had none of these issues. |

![]() I really had my hopes high for this verison. I helped people over at the NWN forums in hope that all that were only temporary fixes. And now, a week before I will get the expansion, i was hoping that all my NWN issues will be resolved so I will be able to enjoy the game... Looks like I will either have to wait yet another month, or hope that a quick fix will come out. |

![]() I am running 1.29 so it is not the NWN patch - it is definatly the drivers because the second I remove them and go back too 3.4 I have no problem. |

![]() I was able to reproduce it in the City of Neverwinter. Easy fix while enjoying the best of the 3.5 drivers. Download this and extract the atioglxx.dll to your Windows\System32 directory (Windows XP/2K users). Catalyst 3.4 OpenGL Driver |

![]() I couldn't say as I haven't seen them yet. You could also replace the file with an atioglxx.dll from most previous driver sets. If you have any trouble I would suggest trying another. Too bad every time ATI releases a driver set they fix one thing and break another and we have to wait another 4-6 weeks for a fix ![]() Otherwise these seem to be nice drivers though. |

![]() It fixed this problem alright. But I am afraid that this will cause the coloured boxes to appear. Is this the only file that modifies OpenGL? |

And, in any case, many are having problems with the leaves and Cat 3.4. Truly a sad state of affairs here. (Anyway, I'll be off home shortly to try out Morrowind, see if they at least got that game crashing resolved)

![]() Which means that the Falling leaves problem is back for sure. Damn I hate this. Hope there will be a fix within the week, since the 3.5 totaly screw up NWN. |

![]() It's an idea.. but to be honest.. I think ATI and bioware need to sit down and sort it once and for all. It's not good for either company. Right now I want to throw my NWN box out the window along with my ATI card.. I am coming so so close to sending my Radeon 9700 pro back and getting an FX5900 - I bet you it does not have any problems. I am trying to be patient.. but months are long times. Why does Nvidia get it right and ATI struggle? You have to admit it's a good question. |

![]() I think the cause us that ATI had terrible drivers a year ago. Things changed, but nVidias supremacy is still visible, since most developers focus primarily on nVidia cards... |

![]() That's not true anymore. The days that games are developed with solely nVidia hardware in mind have come to an end. Anyway, SD79, you're aware of the fact that nVidia gave Bioware a nice amount of $$$ to make the game work better on GeForces, right? That's why ATi have had problems with the game... at least it seems that Bioware is willing to help now that the nVidia cash has been "cashed" ![]() |

What I intended to say was that the effects of those days can still be felt (in NWN for example). Hopefuly this will change. |

![]() So does anyone have any inclination exactly what ATI did too the Opengl driver to make things flash like that? How many people are not suffering from this in NWN but are using the standard Cat 3.5's? My system: Xp2800, Asus A7N8X, WinXP Pro SP1, DX9.0a, Radeon 9700PRO. OGL settings set too high quality textures - no vsync no AA no AF. All eye candy in NWN is switched on. Should I bother posting the OGL version NWNconfig reports, is that relevent to anyone?
