UPDATE: I don't know if my phone did an update in the middle of the night or something, but since Monday all the apps have been stable. No crashing, songs play normally, and I was able to listen to my podcasts without a crash both Monday and Tuesday and then pandora and spotify without a crash.

As I said, I'm thinking it must have done some update Sunday night while I was asleep that fixed things. Not sure really, seems weird that everything would just suddenly work again. But hey, I'm not complaining! Hopefully it's not just a luck streak.
