Yah I don't think there was much inventory to 'clear' since demand never really let up until just recently. Stuff was usually out of stock and if it was there it was overpriced. I think they're just now able to get caught up since demand has started to slack off.

Its dropped a bit since then but its still averaging 2000 CAD for an AIB 6900... Still too rich for my blood but playing CP 2077 on the vega 64 is a bit touchy at 1440p. Really looking forward to the 7000's and some more price drops.

Looking like ME is running a sale... $1599 CAD for a Gigabyte...

Newegg has $1499 one now, Asrock. Getting a bit better but USD to CAD should be 1300$ max and prices should be below MSRP so close to next gen.

Ya my Vega 64 is really showing its age. CP 2077 at 1440p is marginal I need to reduce some more graphical options... tho many options from low to ultra do little for extra fps. Its often like 1% to 3%... If we had some crazy good sale and retail availability of next gen was pushed to 1st quarter 2023... maybe...

The 50's are out and some of them are listed slightly less than a 6900...

Read a review that said calling the 6950XT an overclocked 6900XT would be generous. Not looking like anything to get excited about.
