watching movies on quest 2/3

Hi All,

was wondering if anyone know how to watch movies in VR headset, they look like below?

What do you even call this type of video?

Can't seem to find any answers via on this via google...

by the way, I have the mp4 file of the movie I'm trying to figure out how to upload/side load it and play it... I know there like playhing movies on a big screen in vr, I don't think thats what this is, I'm hoping this is fully immersive, but I actually dont know, new to this...

That type of 3D is called side by side or SBS. I've been out of the game for a bit since the only time i ever watched a movie in VR was Blade Runner 2049 back when I had my CV1 Rift but there are a few options. I used a player called Skybox VR Player at the time back when it was free on Oculus Store/Meta Horizon Link

There are probably better alternatives these days. But I haven't tried any of them. But poking the steam store I did find this for free and was recently updated so might be cool to poke some time.
