VU Meter type windows application.

I'd like a VU type meter application for output from my computer. I found a neat app, looks like old school meters, but whenever I fire up a game, the application stops the needle animation defeating its purpose.

Anyone have any ideas.

Looking for something like that or a graphic spectrum analyzer.
