The dates below are in MM/DD/YYYY format.

Autumn Sale: 11/22/2022–11/29/2022
Winter Sale: 12/22/2022–01/05/2023
Spring Sale: 03/22/2023–03/29/2023

Details of when Steam's next autumn, winter and spring sales will begin have been detailed - and yes, that spring sale date replaces the previous Lunar New Year celebration.

Steam's Autumn Sale is first up, and will run from 22nd to 29th November.

Following that, Valve will hold its annual Winter Sale on 22nd December to 5th January.

And in 2023, the store's newly-titled Spring Sale will be held from 16th to 23rd March.

On the retired Lunar New Year Sale, Valve has said it is responding to feedback that the event was often situated too soon after its big winter sale.

What, you don't like the 5% off on games that you wouldn't buy if it was 95% off sales strategy. :D

So. Spot. On.

I haven’t bought from a steam sale for quite some time now. There just isn’t anything that interests me on sale.

sales have been trash ever since they stopped doing flash deals and added the refund system.

I really liked the flash deals and the extra savings they brought, but it was very annoying to have to keep constant tabs on the sale. If I recall correctly, the flash deals would update every eight hours.

I've already got most every retro game on Steam, so these days I've been focused on buying redundant licenses on GoG. Yeah, I'm stupid like that, but for $1.99 I just can't resist!

well, you can get steam keys from almost everywhere for a fraction of what they want you to pay on steam, so there's that. I actually can't remember when was the last time i bought something directly over steam.

There are a lot of smaller and specialist titles which can be hard to find or unavailable through other stores. Likewise Soundtracks and DLC bundles.
