That daily game progress thread...

Just did glowing sea in FO4 and hit level 27. Game is becoming boring again. It’s like go there fetch this. Go there defend this camp. I will keep at it for a while but the over encumbered nonsense is pissing me off. I could use a mod but that will mess with achievements which is so stupid.
Also had to use no clip to unstuck myself. Really a janky af game.
On the other side about to finish COD Season Pass 5. Pumping nubs a lot and can’t wait for BLOPS early access.
Another game I wanted to put time in but is parked again is HFW. Got Aloy to level 12 or some such and hit Plainsong. That game also grand as fuck. With new games coming out it might get parked again.

Hit level 100 in Season 5 of Diablo 4 :3

Just meandering around trying to become more powerful than ever ^_^

Suck it @KAC I can finish something! Also head pats to @Crawdaddy79 for being angry with me in the finished games thread and giving me the push I needed :D

Still pumping Deathloop.

But, I've also installed Deadlock. And I'm playing Assetto Corsa Competizione. And I shoot up some bots in Counter-Strike 2 every now and then. And I've installed Battlefield 5, and Deliver Us Mars, and Bioshock Infinite, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Half-Life 2 VR, and Cities Skylines 2. And I'd like to play Jedi Survivor, and Wolfenstein 2, and maybe some day Halo Wars 2 and Fallout 4 and Far Cry 6, and who knows, maybe I could play Assassin's Creed Valhalla again after bouncing off the first time.

And then there's a couple of games I got for free on the Epic Store that I could play, like Fallout New Vegas, Dying Light, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Hades, Star Wars Squadrons, Outer Worlds, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

And my Quest 2 gets miserably little playtime, so I have to either sell it or buy Lone Echo. But with the two dozen games I've already mentioned, why the fuck would I buy another game?!

Finished Director Simulator and MY DESTINY GIRLS. Two more FMV dating games.

Time has lost all meaning.

Forbidden West is better especially with HDR on an OLED display.

Playing Outlaws, COD BLOPS6 Beta and some FO4 last DLC.

Finished the horizon: frozen wilds expansion, it was pretty good, felt like it focused on the things that was good in the original game and mostly discarded the bad things.

Not sure if I will jump directly to Forbidden West though, it might be too much horizon in such a short period.

Finished Astro Bot.

It's as nostalgia inducing as Astro's Playroom, 10/10.

It's just a blast to play, it is a bit on the easy side though, so those who wants challenging platformers might not like it.

Still chipping away at Deathloop, but slowly. The game is cool as fuck, but I feel the sense of progress is hidden behind two dozen overarching main objectives that all boil down to "play the level again, but slightly differently this time". It's starting to feel like Arkane is punishing me for only playing Dishonored 1, 2 and Death of the Outsider once each, instead of playing all three a dozen times over using the many, many different strategies and tactics they allow.

The conversation in my head goes like this:
"Hey we made this cool game, you can play it in a million ways!"
> Yeah well I finished it.
"In a million ways, right? RIGHT?"
> No just the once, that's alright.
"Well fuck that. Try our next game!"
> Can I play it in a million ways?"
"We made it so you have to."
> Oh. Fiiiine.

Prey: Mooncrash did it better.

Borehammer 40k: Space Marine 2 (6/10). Did the story, did pvp, did co-op. Seems like co-op is the best of the bunch and I had a moderate amount of fun at times. Not sure I really like the combat model. On toughest difficulty you're dodge-rolling like Dark Souls and QTEing like David Cage's wet dream, but at times it kinda works? Nice brutality helps. Playing as heavy with chain gun is nice when the enemies are fodder, but when they throw armored enemies at you it's just like.... 50 bullets to the head so I can get an execution, 50 bullets for next head. Melee is a bit the same.

Played Star Bores Outlaws (7.5/10). At first I wasn't a fan, and the AI is pretty crap to be honest. Stealth could be more complex. But overall I enjoyed it, the setting is great, the criminal element works and I enjoyed the reputation system. Speeder is fun, Nix is good value, stealth focus is fine with me and I liked creeping through imperial bases. Nothing special about it, but I liked it. Don't think it sold well though so RIP Kay Vess we hardly knew ya.

Still playing Deathloop. It's still cool. I still wish it'd get a move on. (Which may mean I should get a move on in the game and not keep dying and restarting the loop.)
