With Proton being so good with compatiblity, that makes this Steam Machine a lot more usable than the original attempt.

It really will come down to price.

The controller is interesting. But it doesn't look super comfortable to hold with the big touchpads. I'm not sure if I'd really have a reason to change from my old standard of the XBox One Controller.
 
I hope the foveated videostream tech is as good as they claim.

I think I'm going to buy this and the controller, the stream machine would be a neat thing to own, but I don't want a system that is probably going to need FSR 3 to play newer stuff.
