Radeon RX 9070/XT (RDNA4)

Wow hope its not forcing anykind of sag there but doesnt look like it...
It is not, but you could not fit a hair between the wire holding the CPU fan on and the GPU. I'll try to get a better pic later.

Two things about GPU support: My case came with one. But I knew the Sapphire card came with one as well. So I didn't even consider installing the one that came with the case. After going through quite a self-imposed ordeal, I realized the case support needed to be installed before the GPU, I was not going to remove the GPU again! The Sapphire arm mounts to the PCI screw mounts, and the screws that came with the case don't have long enough threaded parts to reach through the arm and the GPU.

So I will probably go with a solution similar to koralis, or get longer screws. I can perfectly see that it will sag after a year or so. It's heavy.

I got my card secondhand, and it was missing part of its support bracket, so needed to do something different. Started researching options and ran into solutions supporting from the bottom like so:

Some of the better ones had magnetic bottoms and rubber tops to keep things from sliding around, I realized that I didn't really need it to be adjustable... I just needed a specific height, and I had the materials to do it myself. As I enjoy a project I jumped in enthusiastically. Saving the $8-$20 on buying something wasn't really the point. There are a lot of options out there, but leaving it unsupported seems like it's just begging to kill the PCIe solder joints over time.

I tried to get a better picture and it only exposed my very flawed install. As is, the power cables are pinched , so I need to reroute them through the top hole (that's what she said, etc) and I can't do it without removing the GPU. When I decide to do this, I will do it with case screws with longer threads so that I can install the Sapphire arm.

From the picture, the fans are definitely touching the GPU, so they are adding some indeterminable amount of weight. The heatsink, you can see has about 0.5mm clearance above the GPU.

Rerouted the power cables through the top hole. Looked really clean until I tried to tidy up the other side. The 3x 8 pin connectors for the 12V 2x6 adapter all conglomerate in the same spot, about an inch from the portal. This prevents the Lancool III right side door from closing. So I had to bring them back inside the case.

Installed the Sapphire arm. Instructions say to use the screws that came with the case but it came with three long-threaded screws, so.... I used them. I guess now if something goes wrong I can't sue them because I'm using the product outside of what is instructed.

i've had this xfx magnetic 9070xt oc for almost a month now.
stable 24/7 settings so far are:

-60mv offset
2760 mem default timings
+10% powerlevel

so far, every game i'm currently playing has been stable for hours.
enshrouded, monster hunter wilds, metaphor, tfd, and all 3dmark suite (except speedway, don't have that).

-70 crashes within the hour (or sooner, depending on game) so i figure -60 is a good spot.

eventually gonna play with negative gpu clock offset because people are reporting that they're getting higher sustained clocks and are able to squeeze out more speed.
