Question about adobe Flash.

I know nobody reads this forum, probably, but since when did adobe flash become malware? It doesn't register in anitvirus or malare removal programs, but it overides my we pages. Every now and then a webpage will just automatically load into the adobe update site and try and download flash. It's ****ing annoying and is exactly what a lot of other malware does, why is this ok cause it's adobe?

you are asked how you want to handle updates during installation. you prolly left it at the agressive setting.

I didnt. Also, when auto update is on, the flash program itself pops up and tells you it needs an update. I'm talking about when browsing the net, flash will simply load the flash update website randomly. Even when i have the latest update.

What browser are you using? I've seen fake Adobe flash updates pop ups.:bleh: I never got Adobe to do in browser updates. You should uninstall the plugin.

It wasnt the fake ones, ive seen those too, it actually takes me to the adobe site :/

I've checked the plugins, they seem fine, and it's not that security warning. I'll try and grab a screen when it happens, but its fairly uncommon.

Also a screen really wont do anything as all that happens is i'm halfway through loading a website, or fully loaded a wbsite and all of a sudden the page redirects to this page https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

You still didn't state what browser you're using. Do you have anything that stops Java or Flash from loading? I have No script on my Firefox and website that isn't allowed to load will tell me to get it install. Websites that don't detect flash will redirect you to install it.

Never seen that, I have never ask for updates because Flash is the devil and should be deleted from the universe.

Never ever happened here, (Opera, Maxthon, Firefox, IE, Spartan). Would be more than surprised if that behaviour is really located at Adobe/Flash.

I thought it may have been something like that at first, but it's not aggressive. It only shows up maybe four times in the last couple months, and it actually takes me to the adobe download page not some other address. Also the page isnt locked, i can just put in a new address or hit the back button to go back to the original web page.

Doesn't matter too much, i just thought i'd ask here. If it keeps happening i'll keep looking for answers, but it doesnt seem harmful, just... odd.
