It really is amazing though, that it looks like we may go well beyond 2 years into this generation before stock is readily available from either competitor... despite selling pretty high volumes.

Yeah, Series X stock has drastically improved. A ton of people who have been coming up short trying to find one for the longest time have been able to get one recently.

I'm not talking about price-gouging third party sellers. I'm talking about legit 1st party sellers at MSRP. There's been regular drops lately on Best Buy, Amazon, Gamestop, direct from Microsoft, etc.

I'll need to start looking at them again. I gave up a long time ago and don't check regularly anywhere. Only ones I ever see are the price gouging sellers on Amazon with the cheapest always at $1000.

even if i'd be in the market for one (which i'm not) i wouldn't pay more than 600€ for one. Everyone around me gave up on nabbing one LONG time ago. Now all of them are no longer interested. It's completely ridiculous. Sony really f*cked that one up.

If there are any Microcenters nearby they have sales on refurbished units for great prices. OLED is amazing, pretty much spoiled me.

I’ve been batting around the idea of selling mine.
