Nintendo Switch 2

Still waiting for the tech specs and what games it can run. All this power at the hands of Nintendo themselves, they'll produce something amazing.

I hope switch games runs better on it.

It would be cool if it could run xenoblade 2 at a higher res than 320x720 or whatever that game ran at.

I wont get it right away, but I'll get it if/when i see a cool bundle with some wicked joycon colour scheme and packin game is available. Very interested to see what this thing can run. The game rumors are very tasty, even though i probably wont play most of them lol.

I'll wait, read reviews and then likely wait longer to see what they have in the works for an inevitable revision. Doesn't help that I haven't heard anything exciting yet for launch titles.

New version is supposed to use Field-effect joycons, which should eliminate drift going forward.

Regarding launch titles, there's no way it launches without at least one Mario game. I think the timing might coincide with the next version of Splatoon.

* The built in chat and camera things I can see being popular for the social aspects. Seemed to be used to goo effect in Pario Party.
* Being able to share games with other consoles would be great to encourage more people to buy a unit, alongside the chat thing.
* The mouse thing will help with the Civilization port an similar sorts of games.
* 3d surround on headphones is cool
* 4k tv-dock resolution

Overall, they seem to understand how it's used and enhanced those things, and added a few things that may make more types of games possible/less clunky. Making the Welcome Tour demo being a paid-game is bullshit instead of just bundling it like in the past.

A Bond game wasn't something I'd have expected. Not sure what Gamecube games might be desired, but I guess there may be some nostalgia buys. Duskbloods seems like it could be cool.

Will definetly be buying day 1, hoping old games get bump in Rez and frames.
Some do, some are free, others are not. Some of the paid upgrades seem more like expansion packs than just an upgrade patch, which would make the cost more worthwhile (also depends on the cost)

It would be cool if they would take advantage of the ram and cpu power of the switch 2 and make the shit you build in the minecraft zelda more persistent in the enhanced switch 2 version.

seeing cyberpunk 2077 running on this thing and looking pretty much the same as the other consoles gives hope that 3rd parties arent going to be forced to strip down a game and make "impossible" ports if they want in on that sweet sweet Nintendo userbase. Just port the game by tweaking the graphic settings instead of transferring everything to an older engine, redoing all the assets to work with the weaker hardware or stripping away every single graphics thing and hopefully it doesnt look like a ps1 game before it starts to run acceptably.
