Glad this is coming! I haven't played either TLOU game since I sold my PS4 Pro in 2022(?). Haven't bought TLOUp1 yet. But I know there will be a moment where I crave going back, and I'm happy the upgraded remasters are right there on Steam, whenever I want them.

I bought this for the PS4 but never finished, this may be a way to do that as I have not played my PS4 for months !

"Starting with tomorrow’s release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PC, we’re working to add more benefits to playing with an account for PlayStation Network. The Last of Us Part II Remastered (coming April 3, 2025), in addition to God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, will all soon be adding in-game content unlocks for PlayStation Network account users.

An account for PlayStation Network will become optional for these titles on PC. Players who still opt to sign into a PlayStation Network account will also enjoy added benefits like trophies and friend management." (source)

PC Gamers who voluntarily sign in PSN will receive in game incentives.

Good, them forcing psn on pc gamers was pretty stupid as it meant that the games could not be sold/played in so many countries.

"According to sources close to the admin of IconEra, Sony Interactive Entertainment is no longer planning PC ports of Demon’s Souls and Gran Turismo 7.

In regards to Polyphony Digital’s racing simulation title, the report claims that there was a PC version of the game in the works, but was ultimately scrapped. Demon’s Souls however is not planned for the platform and is unlikely to every receive a port." (source)

No direct official word from Sony, however the sources have apparently been reliable in the past.

That's a shame. Especially considering that MS is bringing Forza to Playstation 5.

Sony is losing money here. I have seen the Ps4 emulator people loving it...
