Thoughts?
I'm going scorched earth. F fuel economy and climate change.
I want to float out in refined post nazi comfort.

My understanding is that if you want the ultimate in high end full size luxury that isnt an ultraluxe brand, The S class is the top of the food chain. And nothing has really come to beating it.

the 7'er has more raw power due to its 4.4 V8, but there's a whole generation between the 7 series to the merc S500 and it kinda shows, especially inside, mostly when it comes to multimedia features. Both are great cars, no question. But i'd say the S500 beats the 7 series

If you care more about luxury, S500.

If you care more about the driving experience, 7 series.

the S500 is more spacious front and back and a lot more comfy than the 7 series, not saying the 7 series is bad at all, but it really feels kinda old right now, especially when directly compared to the S500. The 7 series is faster, granted, but better driving experience? I, personally, wouldn't say so, but as usual, that's up to the person in question.

Luxury = spacious, comfy, etc.

Actually driving, performance and feeling connected to the road? The 7 series wins that.

I don't think you can really go wrong with either one. I'd take the Mercedes out of the two.

:lol: might be stretching the price range a bit lol

aw, c'mon, maybe.....just a _bit_. To be fair though, both merc and bmw were around what, 120k new? The Maybach was around 160k iirc. He wants to throw some money at a used car, so, why not go full retard then? :lol:

Just go full KAC and ask for opinions about options like Porsche, Ferrari and Aston Martins, and just ignore everyone end up driving a Ford Edge.
