Just built new PC - Chronicles of Riddick not working - see error messages

Hey guys,

Specs:
AMD64 x2 4400 Toledo
2GB OCZ
Asus A8N SLI Premium
2 x 320GB WestDigital HDD SATAII RAID 0
eVGA 7800GTX - Forceware 81.98

After installing Chronicles of Riddick, I keep getting error messages, three in a row:

Any ideas?

id try patching the game, and/or reinstalling your vid card drivers.

This is what happens when I attempt to apply the patch.

I could reinstall the drivers, but every other game i've tried runs better than fine: FEAR, Syberia, Doom3, Quake4

i dont believe any of those other games are OpenGL, nor am i familiar with the nVidia line cards and how they work with OpenGL.

Maybe try an older version of drivers?

I had a bit of a look around and found a nvidia opengl fix Here
Might be worth a try not sure about those other errors though

I would completely uninstall Riddick.

Make sure you delete any files that are left over even after the uninstall.

Reinstall and see what happens.

I think there was a patch for riddick that solved this. The problem rises with OpenGL 2.0 drivers.
If not, you can change the opengl version string to 1.3 with rivatuner, that also fixes it.
