It's been ages : How is everybody doing ?

I have not moved to discord ... I have just been away for some time.

... and now I find out that I cannot post in the politics section anymore.

This sucks.

How will be able to vent my frustration that Trump and Dunce (or whatever the fuck his name is) are still saying the same shit as before.

To post there you need to be a subscriber which you can do with account upgrades under your profile drop down. There really is even less going on in there than the rest of the site though.

You could subscribe to Rage3D, but I wouldn't do it just to gain access to the Politics forum. Why not? Because no-one else seems to have. A paywalled part of a forum on life support, take one lucky guess how active that's gonna be. :(

I feel like once the site was finally recovered from the issues it was having a lot of the base had moved over to discord and just aren't on here that much. Myself included. Pity because I do like the forum format.

Forum format is great. I'd be here a lot more if it was more popular but sadly that's not the case.

Discord is super active and pretty fun though.

It's insane how busy the discord is, for how messy everything looks. I find it hard to wrap my head around.

Yeah I find it too busy at times and a bit spammy. But I mainly spend time in the gaming section and some of the game threads feel about right in terms of activity.

Agreed. I do check into it from time to time (maybe slightly more than here) but the forum format is just home.

And yet we never see you here! How have you been?

My daughter is now stressing about applying for college. Imagine that! Still working and gritting my teeth till I can retire. After 25 years of the same job it's really starting to get to me. Tired of problem solving. Tired of pissy customers. Just tired. :)

25 years is a good run at it. Have fun in retirement.

Not as many here anymore because it's not exactly crazy popular, vicious cycle.

Oh, we're not there just yet. Trying to sell our company. If it happens, then probably will take a couple of years for a transition. If not, then I have to make some decisions.

Rage3D is like hotel California, you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave.
