Lately Chrome has been running a bit slow in anim-gif thread for me again. I enabled gpu rasterization in chrome://flags and it helped a bunch. just sharing this info for anybody having similar issues.

Enable GPU rasterization. Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android
chrome://flags

I haven't noticed it running poorly but my system is pretty fast even without GPU rendering. Nonetheless, I've enabled it as well as another flag that forces MSAA. I'm about dat AA

Chrome and Firefox both seem to have their ups and downs.
I almost left firefox awhile back because it was getting bogged down, but lately it's been nice and snappy. Meanwhile....yea, Chrome seems worse and worse.

Edge? No real comments one way or the other yet. As a web developer, it seems to be more compliant than IE was though, so that's a plus. (As in, pages render the same on firefox, chrome and Edge)

I've been running the Firefox Nightlies on a lot of my machines (including right now) because of the multiprocess support. However, it seems that regular Firefox has made its UI snappier too--especially if you make flash 'click to enable'.

I would probably start using FireFox again if they didn't **** with the new all-in-one address bar (combined back/forward/reload with the address bar). It's not really customizable anymore, except for extensions. But there isn't a good extension to fix that.

But, Chrome is still working good for me. And I'm heavily integrated into everything Google with my Android phone/services.

I'm using Edge after Chrome being super slow

I like it and it's extremely snappy but no adblock is making me want to go back to Chrome ..

Same here, I noticed a nice performance increase at FF 39 so Im staying with FF as the main browser for now.
