Im back to folding for a bit...

Using rig in sys specs.

Its gotten alot simpler to do it too. Lets hope my rig can handle it all. Will be donating to T64. Estimated PPD 11,000-12,000. (least thats what it says)

What's changed to make it easier? Been a long time since I've been in the fold.

Well, its a web based app management and its automatically SMP supported. (the standard V7 client is running on all 8 "cores" on my AMD CPU. (Ill drop that to 7 when the GPU client picks up a WU, 1Ghz HD5770 should be decent right?)

It really is just download and run with minimal setup needed. Much better than before.

Welcome back. :)

I'm not sure if your 5770's are affected but my 7970's won't fold correctly with the 14.12 Omega or the new 15.3 beta due to the new OpenCL 2.0 driver component. It ran but 3x slower. I had to stop the installer after extraction then replace the 10 opencl related items with the ones from the Cat 14.9 then proceed with the installation in order to use the latest drivers.

Watch your TPF on the gpu projects.

My HD5770s are not pulling any work units at all. Ive been working on the system the past month trying to get it to pull some down but no luck. :-(

Its just running on the FX-8320 now. I have the tuner set to run the CPU @ 4.2Ghz while folding though so it doesn't draw as much power/heat. Seems like 4.2 is the sweet spot on the efficiency marker for these CPUs.
