GTA V PC Discussion

Would love to see the screenshot. IMO doing graphical tweak on V is not worth it since it already looks great unlike the manure brown look on IV

For sopme reason I couldn't get LA Roads to work. Did everything as indicated in the instructions and applied the patch correctly. Game refused to launch with that mod.

Isn't that pretty realistic then? :D
  yeah if you looked at it that way. The reason I don't like it is it made the good handling car and turn it into pile of misery. Corve...I mean Coquette is a great handling car before the mod, after it just spinning its rear wheel all the time and drift when I don't want it to

lol, it's a corvette, it's not SUPPOSED to go round corners well... i love that you are complaining that the mod works the way it should :p
 but I really hate they made car very hard to stop (heavy) a-la GTA IV. I try to disable mods but it gives error. I just uninstall and reinstall everything because no matter what I do it will just give error despite I have replaced the modded files with stock backup I created. Anyone knows how to disable or uninstall mods in OpenIV?

I knew it, the mods I had which are similar in general to yours, the graphics ones, probably turned out better looking than the Redux. I'd have to go into my notes to get the names of the visual mods.

One more thing, I tried the mod that completely removes all fog by the modder ubtri. I liked it generally but it was quite stark at noon. So I played it near late afternoon near dusk or early morning to reduce the starkness. Or I just played it at night although the lights in the distant mountains were too bright. Oh well. But it was a nice change of visual pace to see everything with no fog. But of course the fog makes LA more realistic to some and I can understand that.

For some reason I experience 1-2 seconds of stuttering after playing for 30-40 minutes, then it's smooth again. Happens randomly. Most of the time gameplay is ultra-smooth, at about 60fps.

Installed on my SSD, all settings maxed except for grass (very high instead of ultra), and AA (only have FXAA turned on, game stutters more often when using MSAA). 1440p resolution.

Anyone else experience this?

Happens when you move across the 3 areas on the map.

How the cars behave in general in GTAV just seems really dumbed down compared to GTAIV. The game drives more like something akin to Burnout or some other dumb arcade racer, whereas the older GTAIV's handling was something approaching a sim-like handling model which was very satisfying.

I downloaded a mod which makes the car handling more like GTAIV and its brilliant.

Can you link it? Thx.

The only thing that made online fun, were the heists, and they were only possible with freinds, as trying to find randoms to do them with was difficult, because they required a lot of setup/invested time.
