Did anyone buy scrapland?

I have immediately started another job in gaming industry, probably for one of the largest/most respected companies out there(hint, hint, look at my location).

Left handed controls for Splinter Cell 3 on consoles please! See Halo's "southpaw" anolog setting if you are unsure of what I am talking about; and remember you can always remap various buttons to the d-pad so lefties can move while we switch weapons and such as well. I have no clue how much say you would have in the matter but at least you are on the inside so I figure I should ask. ;)

Perhaps you wanted to know more about companies and/or my job, but I cannot give out such information. Game developers are put under NDA's hours after they are hired. Of course, I would not want a lawsuit from a giant firm.

They made you sign an NDA where you can't even tell us who you work for?
Come on........ :hmm:

I beleave the NDA part was referring to the specifics of what it is like to work there maybe. Although I can't comment on where he might work. I have heard(before the big media stuff) that EA here in BC was a really tough place to work, But that RadicalGames(Cool place been there for product testing)is considered one of the best places to work in Canada/BC :)

Anyway if I can find scrapland I hope to pick it up. Just added it to my christmas list but I have feeling I probably won't get it that way. Which is no big deal, I have little worries about buying the game since I played the demo :)

I believe I hinted my present employer very well in my earlier message. ;)

I do not want to mention any names not because of NDA, but because of several negative comments I have made in regards to my former employer. Most likely I will be safe, but god knows who reads these messages. So, I'd much rather keep it secrect. Especially because I do not want to be bombarded with requests/questions/comments which would be very likely after people find out who I used to work for. :)

You are absolutely correct. I cannot mention any specifics of my job as in what exactly I am/was doing. Apart from that, it's your typical office day. Nothing overly exciting and ground-breaking. For those who think that developing a game is exciting...well, it is in early planning stages, but implementation of all features is nothing else but a lo0ng, sometimes tedious routine. :)

so many old familiar names gone too soon :(

I remember playing the demo.

Apparently the people who remastered it have given up on preventing the HUD from stretching when using 16:10 and recommend using a custom 4:3 resolution. I got it working at 1920 x 1440. :/
