Ahoy there. As I start my journey back to working out for the 500th time, I was looking at Roxen's picture I've had on my gym mirror for over a decade and it made me think of this place and get all sentimental.

Who all's still here?!

Gotta love that. Stop working out for even abit... and it feels like you have to storm the damn gates again to get back at it.

Now 40 years old, Sharples is still thinking about how our muscles remember but has lately been investigating the inverse trajectory: Do muscles have a similar memory for weakness?
The answer appears to be yes. “Our new data shows that muscle does not just remember growth—it also remembers wasting,”
Age is horrible! Don't fall off, will be harder and harder to get back as we all turn decrepit!

Hello thar! Still like to occasionally check this place. Hope everyone is well.

Joined in 2002 to brag about my leet Pentium 4 3.06 Ghz with 1.5gbmb Rambus memory and Radeon 9700 Pro. Was a helluva upgrade on the P3 500 Mhz, 192mb RAM and TNT2!

Still here..........going through my old posting history was kind of funny. I will check back in in another 10. 😊

Every now and then I keep thinking I should be a bit more active here. Life often wants otherwise though.

Been around since 2002 or so just before picking up the Radeon 9700 Pro - that card should go down as a legendary part of gaming history.

The concept of the 'Internet Forum' is a dying one, with their now 40-80yr old demographic also departing as time goes by. Mid 90s to mid 00s was a very magical time for 'the internet' and I'm glad I was there to experience it first hand before it became a dystopian hellscape.

See you gentlemen on the other side...

This is literally the only forum left that i check in on every now and then, as pretty much everything else has moved to discord.
