performance improvements for us R9100 users. The game Project IGI was about 20FPS slower in Catalyst drivers 3.2 or higher, i cant go back to C3.1 because the game NFS HP2 makes my pc make a reboot when set to highest details.

Not sure if its been mentioned or not...

But I would like to be able to change AF and AA in Direct X and Open GL from the ATI tray Icon without having to create profiles for each setting...

At the moment I use Radlinker but I can't see why ATI couldn't offer something similar or the option I mentioned above...

It's not much to ask is it?????

FSAA to work in The Longest Journey.
FSAA to work on Alpha Textures (or strong arm the game makers to stop using them, heh heh).

I just want to see supersampling. Sure it's performance is lower, but I would only use it in certain instances anyways, mainly in games that use a lot of alpha textures and in a lot of older games that don't work properly with smoothvision II. I would also be helpful for games like Splinter Cell that have graphical glitches when multisampling is used. There plenty of games out there that just don't work properly with smoothvision II.

Supersample AA for the 9500/9600/9700/9800.

Better compatiblity with older titles. (Blood Omen 1, Sanitarium, Aliens Versus Predator 1 to name a few)

A saturation slider in the Color tab.

Don't know if this is possible or not, but it would be great if it
could be done.

Natural Light Sourcing:

Like most Race/Sim-jockeys, I like things, environments,
objects in the game, etc., to look as realistic as possible.
While some racing games have great lighting, ex.Rallisport,
(though not really a "sim), others have great physics,
track and car models, but have somewhat poor or less than realistic lighting. (EA's F1 Series).

Would it be possible to add a slider or opton, kind of like the gamma controls or AF/AA, where you could put different lighting effects into a game? This would heighten the immersion, and could work for all games, not just Racing sims.
It doesn't really have to be an active "real-time" lighting system , but maybe one that casts a sun/natural light like
hue to textures and objects.

Currently, you just can't get enough color/hue choices to
make all games have natural light.

My wish for future Cat releases or Products...

I would be very happy if ATi included quicksettings in their taskbar icon fpr AA, AF and/or perhaps even profiles.

fix it and there will be silence.

3.1 was the last cat that worked with this game, so its more than 3 months now without working drivers. and i wouldn't expect less whining if 3.6 fails to fix it again...

What I would like to see fixed
1. Windows GUI tooltips are totally messed up when an OpenGL app is runing
2. Textures in Celestia get corrupted when you enable ring shadows. Screen refreshing/rendering is also very very slow.
3. Fix Neverwinter Nights
4. Fix Star Trek Elite Forces II

What new thing I would like to see
Per game control panel settings. Manual, not some hidden optimizations.

The best way to get in contact with ATI is through this link

http://apps.ati.com/driverfeedback/

Please report any or all of these issues you have had and include feature requests as well. I just sent off like 9 right now. Maybe this will finally get through to them if they get like 200 feedbacks in a couple days :)

What I'd like to see is an option to force tripple buffering in opengl games, or heck, even for d3d games. The reason for this is that all opengl games and some direct3d games only use double buffering, which pretty much renders vsync unusable. I really hate that double buffered games split the fps in half when the computer cant render perfectly at the refreshrate. I know 3dfx had an option in their drivers to force tripple buffering, so it shouldn't be too hard for ATI to do the same.

btw, if by any chance rage3dtweak or omega drivers can do this already, tell me and i'll remove this post, but as far as i know, they dont.

Request it as a new feature in the link above. I don't think it is very likely unless it is easy to do or lots of people want it.

I agree with that.
