Battlefield 6

I think I'm out. I played the second beta just abit and... it's just not for me. Glad others are lovin it though and hope it is popular, because I want to BF do well... but I want larger scale and a more tactical feel personally. Some of that might come with updates and maps later though, so I'll keep an eye on it.

Battlefield 2042 - Official Road to Battlefield 6: Iwo Jima Trailer

Playercount in 2042 jumped 1000% between yesterday and today.
There's 6 skins in the free battlepass which will carry over to BF6.

PRELOAD IS UP YOU SLACKERS

Did the free pass for 2042 to get the BF6 rewards. I did not have a great time. 2042 is still probably the worst in the franchise. The terrible maps are a big reason for that.

Yeah, I really tried to like 2042, but it just never gelled for me. Liked the beta for the new one though, hope they manage to not screw this all up.

Had a great time with the beta, pre-loaded and ready to rock and roll. The hype is palpable, I predict around 12 million copies sold by late 2027. A fairly cautious projection for an optimistic return to form.

Can't wait to read your guys impressions, and see your screenshots, of the released game vs the beta. Go get it!

i didn't read it all but i like that they're penalizing jumping and sliding. I don't need or want BF to be a bro-dude twitch sweat fest. Make it more about positioning and strategy instead of who can spam keys faster.

Yeah... It's BF not Apex.. :D

enjoying it so far. sobek is a pretty good map. haven't played enough mirak yet

firestorm feels quite different than in BF3.

LMGs seem super powerful

EA has laid off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.

Individuals are being informed that the layoffs are taking place as part of a "realignment" across the Battlefield studios, as the team continues its ongoing, live service support for Battlefield 6 following launch. All four studios will remain operational, though the layoffs seem to be impacting a variety of teams across multiple studios and offices.

Looks like one of the best selling games of last year did not perform good enough for EA.

Yeah it sold really well but then the player base dropped off pretty quickly.

Personally I feel like I got all the enjoyment I was going to get out of the game during the public beta and I haven't really enjoyed playing since then.
