Atomic Heart 2

Personally... interested to see what they can pull off... and want to see more. But hyped wouldn't be the words I would use at this point.

*late edit* Should be noted... it was said at Summer Game Fest after this trailer was debuted, that this is a "spiritual successor" and not a direct sequel... which imho is very weird... given it's the same developer. But it was said to have "a greater emphasis on RPG elements and player freedom"... whatever that means.

It looks pretty crazy and amazing. I almost bought Atomic Heart 1 after seeing this trailer. But I got too many games to play that I've already bought.

It's definitely worth a play. I got distracted by other games and never completed it. Looking forward to going back to it though :)

I enjoyed the first one, kind of a quirky game. Sort a mix between Bio Shock, Deus Ex, and maybe NOLF. You can play it on Xbox Game Pass if you have it.

I look forward to the sequel, but it does seem weird that it's described as a "spiritual sequel". Like are they just ignoring the story from the first one? I don't know, that just seems strange to me. More RPG elements could be good, I suppose, if by that they mean that you can explore the city more and not just have it be a linear storyline where you hit places one time and can't go back.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what they come up with.

i thought the first had some neat aspects but was just too rough and had some really odd gameplay elements (e.g. poor open world structure). I liked the art design and the setting. The protag was a moron too. I would consider trying the new one if it fixed up a lot of issues.
