Whenever I try to access a shared folder on a win2k machine from a 9x machine I get this prompt asking me for a password...... I didn't enable any passwords. how do I setup 9x so that it can access shared files on my 2k machine?

I always thought you couldn't repair bad sectors but after a search on google I found a few links to sites claiming you can with scandisk and chkdisk IIRC you can only MARK bad sectors so those sectors WILL NOT be used therefore your files will remain "safe" am I wrong??
