Hi, I have a strange, uhm, let's call it "problem". Regardless what kind of driver I use (ATI's, Omega, DNA, etc.), my Radeon 9500 Pro will be recognized and installed as Radeon 9700 Pro. This is not a "real" problem, but I can't compare my benchmarks correctly at 3dmark03, AquaMark etc. ...

On Warp2Search are "new" beta drivers for WinXP and Win2k, dated on february 7th ... the strange thing is the version number: 6022 ... This would mean, that they should be the oldest in comparison the the latest 6025 and 6032 ... but the driver date is february 7th ... Has any1 tried them...

In the latest 6xxx driver sets, the GUI acceletation seems to be disabled or broken. Everything on my WinXP Desktop is pretty slow - windows, startmenu, scrolling etc ... Is there any solution or fix for this problem? Abit KT7a / AMD TB 1.3 Ghz / 384 MB Ram / Radeon 7500 Retail / WinXP Pro

So many guys have problems with lockups/freezes under Win2k/WinXP and a AMD/VIA Combo, but most of them forget one thing - to install the LargePageMinimum patch from AMD! Without it, the system will crash during 3D apps ... Get it here...
