So what games besides Cyberpunk struggle at 4K with a 3080Ti / 3090? Not played any games on my 3090 that have made me think "man I want a new card for this game". with the exception of Cyberpunk ofcourse.
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is the green team's answer to AMD's recent Radeon launches. In our testing, this 12 GB card basically matches the much more expensive RTX 3090 24 GB in performance. The compact dual-slot Founders Edition design looks gorgeous and is of amazing build quality.

Control has RT. Ass Creed doesn't but both are quite demanding at 4K. They are old titles now, anything newer than Cyberpunk that's demanding at 4K?? None I can think of.
I'm surprised RDR 2 is over 60 FPS at 4K
Edit: Actually, Control does have DLSS now so that chart will be out of date for that game.
yeah thats flat out full 4k though with no DLSS/FSR. Still stand by my viewpoint that there's no reason to not use DLSS/FSR 2.0 in a game these days. I can't tell the difference between native 4k and quality DLSS.

It's starting to feel like the rumors about NV only launching the 4090 might be true.
NVIDIA's current Ada Lovelace GPU release schedule: GeForce RTX 4090 launched in October, GeForce RTX 3080 and maybe RTX 4070 (or 4070 Ti) in November.

I want at least one. Been saving my milk money so unless it retails for more than $2k, I've got it covered
Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU are popping up early at online storefronts, and Gigabyte options seemingly come with an eyewatering price attached. Australian retailers are currently listing overlocked graphics cards for over $3,000 USD, which suggests you might need to pay more for a custom GeForce gaming PC upgrade.

If it has a higher wattage and core clock perhaps.
The RTX 4080 16 GB is based on the AD103-300-xx" comes with 9,728 CUDA cores, a boost frequency of 2.50 GHz, and 16 GB of 23 Gbps GDDR6X memory across a narrower memory bus than the one the RTX 4090 comes with. This card reportedly has a 340 W TGP configurable up to 516 W.
The GeForce RTX 4080 12 GB is positioned a notch below its 16 GB namesake, but is based on the smaller AD104 chip, with 7,680 CUDA cores running at speeds of up to 2.61 GHz, 12 GB of 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory, and a TGP of 285 W that's configurable up to 366 W. It's interesting how the leak includes not just TGP, but also maximum configurable TGP. The various board partners will utilize the latter as their power limits to achieve overclocked speeds. Even the NVIDIA Founders Edition board is technically "custom design," and so it could feature higher-than-stock TGP.
Lower core clocks, moar everything else including wattage.
It just rumored specs right now, but if true, it is pretty weird to call both of those a 4080, those differences reminds me of the 980/1080 vs the x80 Ti, or maybe even a 70-class vs the 80.
When we first got news about NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 4080 "Ada" coming in 12 GB and 16 GB variants, we knew there was more setting the two apart than just memory size and memory bus-width. Turns out there's a lot more. According to detailed specifications leaked to the web, while the 16 GB var...
