Call best buy's in your area and have them search there system to see if any have it. It wont let you do it online and they can't even order it from one store to the other but they can see who has what and call to have them hold it.

They said at the one I got it from that it was the 2nd shipment of them that hey have received.

I tried to buy the 2nd in case any one here wanted it but they would only sell me one.


Screen door is very apparent (oddly, it seems to go away completely sometimes when the image is really close to the camera) Still really cool for just $600. Also kind of sick of it telling me that my pc doesn't meet there minimum requirements because I have an I-7 3770k @3.6 and not an I5 4550.

Wish they had demo's for the VR games.

i've only tried it briefly with Alien Isolation and couldn't get it work well with the vive, there was some lighting issue, but i didn't stick with it long enough either. Will have to try again when i have more free time.

I wound up purchasing it and just tried metro and dishonored.
Its definitely not something that works w/o individual game tweaking but with some time might work well enough for some games.

It is by far the best looking video player or virtual desktop. I don't know about VR movies yet though because I have not dl'd either of the two players they have links two that work with it but for 2d its far better than Virtual Desktop or any of the ones on oculus store.

I mean they just did the next day shipping for the first month of shipping, probably because of the problems they had and wanted to get them out as fast as possible

man I can't wait for touch to come out so rift user can experience what vive users means by presence....once you've been in room scale vr, sitting down just feels like a straight jacket sometimes, minus the racer/space/flight sim. Still being able to get up and look at the car you are driving in Project Cars is pretty amazing.

? you can move around with rift. I set my play area to small and it still gives me plenty of space to move in.

also not being able to interact with stuff with your hands makes it feel like your strap to a chair. I haven't tried lucky's tale or bother to do revive but the adventure time is pretty amazing for 3rd person platformer. Still It always makes me feel limited that I can't just reach out and interact with the characters...

13ft. The length of the cable. It wont track all the way to the floor though. It says out of tracking area about 6" or so from the floor if i remember correctly.

I agree, having the hand tracking will be much better but atm, there really isn't too much that would use it yet any way. I also think they both failed by not making gloves.

leap motion isn't that expensive but doesn't offer any type of feedback. Is there a lot of support for it atm? Also i think that manus is going to work with all 3 if its the one I have read about that's in kikstarter atm. But yes 300 per arm is

The gated content is really bad, especially in such a small universe of early adopters. I feel like having a fractured market like this is potentially going to set VR back pretty badly. The headsets are so expensive that few are going to want to cough up the money for more than one.

They arent top res quality as the ones you can get directly but enough to see if its good

Then it all depends from what vr porn site you want to watch video from. They all recommend different players and settings for their videos
The vr video player market sucks ass right now and no one has come up with a good all around player

Some sites have their own in house vr player
Some recommend whirligig or vr desktop or even others less known (they all suck IMO)

The only one that works good is virtualrealporns own player but you can only use it for their videos

I recommend to do a trial to vrp and just download everything you like
I sub on them because they are the only ones who do most things right and I want to support that
They just dont have the big porn stars which is a shame
