Not very many people here arent using low end 8 series cards. Most of us are in the 8800 series.

Maybe these are the ones that have AA on Timeshift!

Although the scaling options are greyed out in these drivers for me, custom resolutions actually work!!!

E.g. the backend parameters are actually obeyed if you set them manually. Whenever I tried to do this before, the drivers would override the backend paramters, even when set to manual, and I couldn't get anything to work; but now they stay set.

So I started by creating an entry for my native res (1360x768) and leaving the backend parameters on auto to get the correct settings for my actual native res. I can then edit that entry, set the background paramters to manual to preserve the settings for my native res, and then enter whatever front end res I want and it works.

Because of this, I'm now finally able to play KOTOR in widescreen I created 1706x960 (which sounds odd, but it matches vertically with the game's 1280x960 interface) with the backend parameters set for 1360x768 and it scales correctly.

It's from a thread on nvidia offical forums for the 174.74 drivers.

nice to see that the set brught improvements, even if only to the 9800gx2.

They did lower my crysis fps by 1.5-2.5, so it seems that even though they support all cards(probably due to the customer outcry concerning latest betas) they're pretty much tailored for the flagship card. Back to the good ol 174.31's

those are some nice crysis improvements for the 9800gx2, damn!

The outcry might have been the broken AA game profiles...
About time Nvidia released an other than 9 series only with working AA profiles.

174.16-174.70 all have about the same crysis performance. 174.74's have a lower fps than the rest of 174's (which is a bit strange) but still a bit higher than any 169's, so I'd say stick with the 174.60's if theyre stable for ya.

Well, this has been an intersting weekend as far as drivers are concerned for me. I was not holding out any hope of getting these damn TDR errors under control. This was happening about every 20 minutes or so on average. Well, I decided to download the 174.74 betas (yea, I know I said no more beta's), and poof I play Crysis for like 3 hours with no driver errors. So, I've done two things since my last bout with crashes:

                                                        1) I installed the new betas (174.74)
                                                        2) I installed an additional 2GB (6GB total) of ram taking up my additional 2 memory slots (all four are now occupied).

Sure hope these stay stable!? Anyhoo, these drivers seem to be doing the job, hopefully.
