    Enjoy.

Also download the modded.inf's for the set you require, then once you have extracted the drivers, drag the modded .inf across into the extracted folder thats created, and say yes to replace, then run the Setup.exe to install.

Put in drivers sticky. I'll wait for a version after 174 before I change drivers.

well the program detection actually found 90% of my games with these drivers, so that's an improvement. When you press a letter on the keyboard an error box "invalid parameter" pops up. I suppose that's better than nothing happening as in all other 17x.xx drivers At least they will implement it sooner or later. Crysis performance in the flyby up by 0.5 fps, so not much new there. Timeshift still no AA as usual

still no official beta/whql since 169.... sigh

Im still on 169.09, dont really feel like the hassle of untinstall/reinstall for little gains. (Not playing Crysis atm, just Sins Of a Solar Empire, and COD4, both of which I am well in the green range as far as FPS goes.

This will never happen, the issue has been around since the G80 release and probably never will be fixed.

Seen posts about the 174.31's do not support SLI. The posters claimed attempting to set SLI required a reboot, but SLI wasn't enabled after bootup.

Not going to test it myself.

I don't think this is an official release so I doubt you'll find them on nV's site. These are leaks from AIBs or other sources.

Haven't tried other games but the one I'm currently playing (FEAR) saw a nice little boost over the 174.12's with these. This is fun playing with all the driver versions Reminds me of back when D-Link was churning out beta firmware like mad for the DI-624 router based on the last of the turbo mode Atheros chipsets (I had to hack the later versions to get static turbo back!).

                                                I'd give them a try.

The link eatyour1337ies posted has the mod'd inf file included.
SLI does indeed work on these. Though normal bootup after a driver install has a prompt pop up stating you have a SLI capable system and click to enable etc.
These gave no prompt though opening CP allowed SLI to be set.

Why is it so difficult for them to release official drivers like ATI, instead of always BETA drivers? I love new drivers. But I like them to be legit. That is what eventually drove me away from nVidia last time. I had a 6800GT and was a fantastic card (at the time), but grew tired of the fact that in the entire time I owned it (over a year), nVidia only release two official drivers.

Sometimes I wished I went with ATI instead
Just came from that camp. And unless you are big fan of cyclical VPU recovers until hard lock or OS crash, I wouldn't be wishing too hard.

I have these and 2 8700M GT's and SLI is indeed enabled. Was getting 300fps in World of Warcraft @ 1920x1200 with everything maxxed at 8xAA and 8XAF.

I recently swapped from an ATI card to 8800GT, as well as from Xp to Vista, so I have a question regarding driver updates on my new system. Do I still uninstall old drivers, reboot into safe mode, run DriverCleaner, reboot, install new drivers? Is there a preferred way to update drivers in Vista, or with NVidia cards as opposed to what I'm used to? Do I need to change some settings in Vista so it won't try to update my drivers automatically?

Even in the few games I play, and now the Witcher, these drivers are very very nice indeed!.
