DIII just crashed with these drivers.. will be rolling back..
Im beginning to regret moving back to Nvidia.. nothing but issues so far.

I played diablo 3 with my bro and his fiancé last night for 3 hours, never had a single problem, even in other titles, TRI-SLI bug in WoW is fixed, it actually scales now.

The new GeForce 310.61 beta drivers are now available to download. Otherwise identical to last week's 310.54 beta driver, 310.61 beta improves compatibility in Hitman: Absolution and Planetside 2, and supports a new Black Ops II SLI profile that's available through NVIDIA update.

The new GeForce 310.64 beta drivers are now available to download. Featuring the same performance boosts as the 310.54 and 310.61 beta drivers, today's release gets your system ready for Far Cry 3, which launches in Europe tomorrow, and next Tuesday in North America.
In addition to maximizing compatibility in the new, performance-intensive first-person shooter, the 310.64 beta drivers improve performance by up to 37.6% in the configurations we've tested. Furthermore, the previously-released SLI profile is also included, allowing multi-GPU users to maximize performance the moment the game launches.
Using the most popular gaming resolution, 1920x1080, we maxed out Far Cry 3's many graphics options, selected SSAO Ambient Occlusion (an excellent balance between performance and fidelity), set the game's version of Transparency Supersampling to "Standard", and enabled 8xMSAA to eliminate those pesky jaggies. As you can see below, today's 310.64 beta driver boosted performance significantly, helping the GTX 670 and GTX 680 achieve playable frame rates at this demanding detail level. Please note that we expect improvements of varying degrees to be seen on any system utilizing a GeForce GTX 400, 500, or 600 series GPU, but due to time constraints we were unable to run comprehensive, in-depth tests ahead of the driver's release.

The world's most advanced graphics cards, gaming solutions, and gaming technology - from NVIDIA GeForce. Download drivers, automate your optimal playable settings with GeForce Experience.
Looks like it. The WHQL designation helps with some apps in Windows 8 that don't run if you use beta, so updating. But the change-log and all other information seems to indicate it's the same.
-edit-
I could be mistaken, but it looks like the updater and Physx versions are newer.
Mentioned something about updated far cry 3 profile added also.
Following 310.70 WHQL's creation we updated our Far Cry 3 SLI profile to incorporate new 'bits' that prevent frame rate stuttering observed on some systems with the previous profile.

edit - both far cry 3 and skyrim seem to be running better with these drivers.

Updater looks newer but the PhysX version is still the same as it has been for a few (beta) releases now. Installed them anyway cause I'm OCD

also the SLI compatibility for dx9 is still wrong, where cetrtain objects in the geme disable SLI scaling alltogether, combined crysis 2 and farcry3 bits work perfect. reported it to NV a while ago, even told the them good bit.

What do you mean by combined crysis 2 and farcry 3 bits? What is the best flag/value to use for DX11?
I had an issue where around trial of the rakyat areas the SLI in DX9 would stop working completely 0% scaling, at least on 580sli, don't know if 680 is affected.
did some experimenting with combining bits together from other games and stumbled upon a working bit, that works just as good as the default bit, but also gets rid of the scaling problem around the rakyat trials (orange rock area)
default fc3 dx9 bit = 0x02402C05
default crysis 2 dx9 bit = 0x02506405
custom dx9 bit = 0x02502C05
What a mess - constant driver not responding errors while browsing. Setting adaptive power to "prefer max. performance" fixed about 75% of the problem, but I still get at least 2 driver crashes per 1 hour session.

is this with 310.70 WHQL
i'm not getting any of that, but my 680 is factory overclocked

Yep, that's the set I'm using now. I think I may have found the rest of the fix. Hardware rendering while browsing needs to be disabled - hasn't crashed yet.
EDIT:
-disable hardware rendering in FF and IE.
-Set adaptive power to prefer maximum.
-Set Physx to GPU instead of automatic.
If any one of those isn't done, I get random driver crashes with every win8 driver released so far. Hope this helps anyone else dealing with this issue.
