Yeah battlefield dx12 never worked out well for me one bit..... Still stutters when you scope in so it can cache the textures I guess. AMD didn't have that issue at all in dx12

Hm, I don't have that issue. Thing is, though, that I usually play medic and not any of the "Optical" variants at that, so I don't scope that far. Nor do I use DoF in any game ever.

They are WHQL-signed and ready for the Windows 10 Creators Update. Added as well is DTS X and Dolby Atmos support for 5.1.2 speaker configuration through the GPU's in-built audio controlleron HDMI and DP as well as added support for Dolby Vision

EDIT: got DDU to work. For some reason, first 3 reboots DDU would not launch (not even the initial warning) .. worked after I uninstalled my NV drivers manually.

creators update also sets automatic driver install to enabled again. thankfully DDU worked and disabled that for me (again)

Had a similar thing just now checking out DDU.

Doesn't wanna start at all and crashes unless I add an exception to Msi Afterburner and set detection to None as per a suggestion on the DDU forums.

This is with the latest DDU and an in place upgrade to the Creators update.

Weird that Msi Afterburner and this program makes DDU crash. Never did that before with earlier Windows versions :\

This is typical of HDR displays, at least with what we have seen so far. Which TV do you have (I assume its a TV). I had to wait months for my TV manufacturer to release a firmware update that actually allowed HDR to work properly in games on the PS4 Pro.

If I recall the Pascal/Polaris can't do 10bit due to the hardware being 4:2:2 compatible instead of 4:4:4. I get this when I attach my 1080ti to my 4K Samsung I have for my parents, but when I use my Opo the picture is fine.

My GTX 1070 went to 4:2:2 when I enabled HDR (my TV also confirmed HDR was enabled). I think it was 10bit when I enabled HDR.

I can manually set 4:4:4 or RGB 8bit without HDR and the pic looks great (can't really tell the difference between 4:4:4 and RGB)

This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 381.78 that addresses the following:
-Fixes Windows 10 Creators Update booting to a black screen on certain notebooks

Even though this says for notebooks, I was having this issue and these drivers fixed it for me.

still getting black screen issues on cold boot with these drivers. disabling fast boot in power management options fixes this, and boot times are exactly the same on my crucial MX200.

new update for windows pushed out this morning that may have fixed it. will post if that fixed it. i re-enabled fast boot for now.

turn off fast boot in windows settings. it's a useless feature that is causing the issue. boot times are exactly the same with it off, it does nothing.

manuelG posted on guru3d that NV is aware of it and will have a fix for it soon. something with creators update did it

what's going on with gsync and the latest windows creator bs updates? gsync doesn't work in my games anymore, I'm seeing tearing everywhere. I did a quick google and the top suggestion was to enable vsync through nvcp. This did help in Stalker but I haven't checked other games yet. But what is this doing exactly? I was expecting to see my frames never exceed 100 frames with vsync enabled and yet in stalker that isn't the case even though the tearing is gone.

Gay, for using GSync you need to enable VSync in NVCP and disable it in game. Reason frames climb higher than refresh in the game is because VSync is disabled in the game.

That way, GSync works correctly. Nobody knows why but you can thank me later.

Don't enable VSYNC in any games that you aren't going above your refresh rate though.

Single GPU as follows:

G-Sync+Fast-Sync ( enable both in the NVCP if available )

Disable Vsync or FPS limiter in-game

MULTI-GPU as follows:

G-Sync + Vsync ( will cause latency )

Or

G-Sync + Frame Limiter ( setting will differ depending on the Hz of the screen )

Disable Vsync in-game.

I have yet to encounter an issue with it. GTAV, WOW, Diablo 3, BF1 etc etc seen great.
