Exactly my plan with big Kepler

Seems like the AO is the cause for some of the flickering in DA3 when SLI is enabled.

I'll be waiting to play FC4 then until SLI works.

Does MFAA provide less performance hit and better AA than TXAA? Where does MFAA sit on the pyramid in terms of visual quality?

Well, I hope they actually look at the screen the next time they release SLI profiles for DA 3 and FC 4, the rendering errors in those titles makes me suspect that they only looked at the scaling results in some xml file.

I'm not so enthusiastic regarding the quality since nvidia blatantly refer it as MSAA replacement which just not cut it in modern games; I still think crytek implementation of SMAA 4x which combine normal SMAA with supersampling is the best AA method out there so far although not perfect, still need transparency and edge detect AA to supplement it.

the bad thing is, seem no other games offer such myriad options of AA methods some games offer SSAA or render scale but generally it cost too much performance and still don't clean up shader, transparency and temporal aliasing completely.

I blamce consoles for this since their hardware are just not cut it for doing multiple high end AA solution so dev don't bother with them
I guess it's the trend nowdays with games; either you are a hardcore PC GAME, or you live long enough to see yourself become a console port

Could do Edge-detect or other AA + the new NVidia scaling.

Shame that games don't tend to handle ultra-high resolutions well, even ones that allow scaling of UI... always seem to be parts that aren't taking the hints.

I am seeing crazy thing here, my cards decided to raise the core clocks to base clocks whenever I'm opening acdsee, right, an image apps need teraflops of gpu power even though afterburner shown no actual gpu usage.

Nvidia has released a hotfix driver:

This is a beta driver that addresses the following issues:

GeForce GTX 980 displays texture shimmering when Texture Filtering Quality set to High Quality.
GPU outputs fuzzy lines over DisplayPort after a period of time following driver updates.
System hang up and black screen after power on with some monitors (DP1.2 & 4K/60Hz) + GTX980
WOOT WOOT, fix for the black screen issue on 4K displays when using a DP 1.2. No more having to swap between HDMI and then DP.

It is also part of the latest driver branch, so it will have all the fixes and such from .75.

Problems in SLi I am facing. Would be great to get some help.

DAI. Texture flickering in cutscenes that continues once I gain back control. But then goes away as I progress further.

Farcry 4 black shadows causing me to not see crap on the screen correctly.

Ryse Son of Rome. Texture flickering on enemy bodies with maxed settings.

Stuttering in COD AW with filmscopic 2x and 4x supersampling. What is the best setting for 970 SLi setup.

I do not know if this is SLi issue or game issue except for Farcry 4. Would be great to hear your thoughts on possible fixes. Thanks.

Put textures on high in DA3 that will fix the flickering, but foggy areas will still look like crap with SLI enabled.

You still with this? The nvinspector SLI flag fixes the black shadows. I've been telling you this for weeks now. What's the issue?

I've used the FC3 bits, they didn't fix **** with the 1.4 patch.

Nvm, the crazy flickering went away when I alt tabbed, so they do fix something!

Well I retried the Farcry 3 bits and it seems to be better but not fully fixed. I need to turn off SLi to truly see if this is placebo or if this crap is working or not. Game is pretty dope and I would like to continue playing. Now testing DAI.
