Seems you have to install Geforce Experience or the divers won't install.

TXAA textures are crawling again with this set. BUT I figured it out this time...

DISABLE Triliniar and Aniisotrpic optimizations... problem goes away. (also even though they allow you to tinker, leave anisotropic level and transparency alone... let application decide.)

Yeah I got them to install by selecting geforce experience and a clean installation. Uninstalled that crap and 3D vision drivers afterwards and are working OK, didn't have time to test any games, though. Gonna have to customize my profiles in nvidia inspector first.

I had no serious issues on installing em

Windows 8.1 did a clean install was on whatever driver was available on Windows Update before, prompted me to reboot, the drivers installed after I logged back in, my Metro glitched but a using the windows key + D to get to the desktop and it was fine getting back in.

Tomb Raider does seem smoother. I don't run with Tress FX , as I don't see it being worth the hit. Really enjoying the game actually wish I had played it earlier.

With the various filtering optimzations disabled I was able to take the LOD adjustment to -2 and it looks sharp. (with the exception of some scenes with gritty sand... sand looks bad in motion.)

You don't have to install the GeForce Experience crap.

1.) Install the driver but cancel the install after its done extracting.
2.) go to the extracted Nvidia driver folder and delete the folders you don't want to install, make sure you keep the NVIS2 and Graphics driver folder or whatever they are called.
3.) Run the install from that directory.

This issue occurred when they started including the Nvidia Experience bloatware with the driver. This is the workaround.

Worth installing the new drivers? I am a bit weary given the reports.

All I had to do was select custom installation and uncheck the Gforce experience box same as any other driver install that you don't want every thing.

BTW, 326.19 also screws up Surround.

For some reason I can't get windows to snap correctly.

Also the time and date is missing from my windows task bar.

I've also had a few Nvidia Driver Display not responding errors with the beta.

                        I'm rolling back to 320.49.

weird. i always unpack the drivers, and delete all folders except physx, display driver, and NVI2. then i run the setup and it works fine, none of the bloat is even offered during installation.

Also, word on the net is that 326 set has issues with crashes in u3 engine games.

Please feel free to leave feedback for any driver related issues specific to this driver. By providing your information here, you may also help others who may be experiencing the same issue you are. The more information we receive from you and others, the easier it will be for us to reproduce this issue in our labs and provide a fix through a future driver. Please provided the following information we request as best you can. Alternately, you may provide this same information through our NVIDIA Display Driver Feedback Form from the URL below:

Please provide the following information as best you can:

                            1) Graphics card/GPU make and model:
                            2) Is this a driver regression? If yes, what was the last driver version which did not have this driver bug?
                            3) Operating System:
                            4) Is your graphics card manually overclocked/factory overclocked? If your graphics card is factory overclocked or manually overclocked, we recommend that you lower the clock speeds of your graphics card to NVIDIA reference clock speeds and then make another attempt to reproduce the issue you are encountering. For graphics cards which are factory overclocked, you may use a 3rd party utility such as eVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner to adjust the clock speeds of your graphics card. Our NVIDIA Products page lists the NVIDIA reference clock speeds for each of our GPUs.
                            5) If your issue is specific to a game or application, please provide the title and if possible version of the software
                            6) Describe the display driver issue you are encountering and if possible include step by step instructions on how to reproduce this bug. Please use the knowledge base article "How to provide valuable feedback to NVIDIA" as a guide to help you include information that will help us root cause the problem.

                            7) Software/driver issues can sometimes be specific to a users system configuration. Please provide your system information so that we may attempt to match it as closely as possible.

                            CPU make and model:
                            Amount of system memory:
Motherboard make and model (if OEM system, please provide your PC make and model instead):
                            Motherboard BIOS version:
                            Monitor(s) make and model:
                            Sound card make and model:

                            8) If your system meets the driver requirements however the installation process fails or gives you an error message, please reinstall the driver with logging enabled so that we may investigate the cause for this issue. Instruction available from the URL below:

                            9) If you are seeing constant TDRs/BSOD in desktop apps/games, providing the logs from your crash dump files may assist us in understanding the cause. Here is a KBA with more information on collecting crash dump files:

Please send the crash dump files to [email protected]. Make sure to include description of the problem, driver version and your system specification with your email.

Since there are hardly any issues with drivers (except some have had issues with newer ones) we tend to keep it all in here. As you will soon find out, nVidia drivers are as solid as everyone says they are

it fixes u3 engine game crashes from previous beta, so if you play some u3 crap then yes.

GeForce 8800M GTS driver on Quadro FX 3600M graphic card

                                                      Hi,

Rcently I bought a HP 8710w second hand laptop, with Quadro FX 3600M graphic card on it. Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium x64 with SP1.

My question is: where can I find a modded 8800M GTS driver or how can I softmodd my Quadro M into GeForce M?

Quadro FX 3600M is based on G92 nVIDIA GPU DirectX 10, shader 4.0, with 256 bit memory bus width and 512MB GDDR3 RAM onboard (same as GeForce 8800M GTS).

                                                      Thank you!

                                                      P.S.
I need this to play smooth one of my favorites games, UT3.

An Nvidia moderator said that the developer drivers 327.24 are older than the 326.80 version and don't include many of the fixes, and more when compared to the WHQL 327.02.
from that link, i'll just wait. 326.80 have been good to me.
