I didn't update since I don't want to mess with my profiles again.

More than one solution though. I'm considering an AMD based GPU solution for my next laptop. Nvidia's Verde driver sets are consistently troublesome. After 1.5 years, multiple formats, and even a new mobo/GPU/ram and hdds....I still get at least 1-2 driver crashes per day, Win7 and 8.
Yeah, just about done with mobile Nvidia.

I have a 670 and I crank the graphics in all games to max and some more without a singel problem. Its one of the best cards I have ever owned”Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.” - Albert Einstein

Borderlands 2 performance sucks
What's odd though...even on my meager 560m BL2 is one of the best looking and best running games I have. Go figure.

I installed 310.90 last night and the included Nvidia HD audio drivers screwed up my Asus Xonar drivers. Front panel headphone detection no longer worked properly. I didn't even realize there was an audio driver included with the Nvidia graphics drivers now. Promptly uninstalled the audio driver and all is well again.

I'm having a problem with every single driver set I've installed for Windows 8.
At some point during the uninstallation process for the old drivers (my guess is when the uninstall reaches the actual driver) the screen will turn blue (it's my start screen color - if I put it to red the screen will go red - and I can't do anything.
The OS is still functional, if I press the windows key I can "see" the screen going from desktop to start screen (there's a slight color difference) and if I get the shortcuts right I can even restart or shut down the PC.
It's a very annoying issue, because every time a new driver is out I have to go through "blind restarts". After the OS is restarted I can install the driver with no problems.
Has anyone else experienced this ?

I think I let it stay like that for about 2 minutes until I started trying to restart the PC. Did you let it sit like that longer ?
