There is no dedicated tesselator, and if you use that DX11 feature, it will take large amounts of shader time, used inefficiently as is the case with general purpose hardware. You will then need the same shaders again to render the triangles. 250K to 1 Million triangles on the GT300 should be notably slower than straight 1 Million triangles.

Well as long as you have all the drivers installed for the HD 2900XT it should work. However, some HDTVs may have a default HDMI audio setting that expects audio to come in from another input when using HDMI.

I would suggest going through your HDTV’s owners manual to verify any specific settings then follow up by going through the menu system on the HDTV to confirm the settings.

Also double check the proper drivers for the video card and any additional settings in utilities.

Don't know if this will help or not. Check your sound and audio devices settings in the control panel and set the hdmi as default output rather than having your soundcard as default.

Yeah i installed the drivers for mine even though i was not going to use it ( i don't like seeing those yellow markers lol ). As for me it defaulted to the 2900 sound.

you do know installing the Cat 7.6 will not install the Audio drivers ?.
