I don't have Vista nor a Vivo, but presumably you plug in a video source and then open any app that can capture, like Nero, Videostudio or Windows movie maker.

Is it Vista? lol forgot to mention that.

Or Should I Uninstall everything first. (Vista Automatically finds My Vid Card and Sets It Up (I Was Surprised!)).

Edited: I Left and it did install, I Reset My PC, but now what?

Use Windows Explorer and hunt through the CD's folders. With any luck you'll find a folder called WDM and inside will be a setup program.

I'm not sure what WMD means, but in the CD that came with my Vid Card (ATI CATALYST) there is:

-Software Install > Install - Remote Wonder - Real One - Muvee

-Documentation > User Guide - Product Notes

-Register My ATI Product > Website

-Maintenance - Display Adapter Information - Create Problem Report - Driver Updates

    Thanks for at least responding

Well I suppose anything is possible but as I understand it, it is notoriously difficult to get an AIW card’s tuner / VIVO features working when it is installed as a secondary card. Again what’s the system configuration and OS?
True that, I've even tried it. AIW absolutely must be the primary display to use the tuner functions.

You both would be wise to install the WDM (within MMC) from the CD that came with the card.

Which X800 is it, a VIVO or AIW? Either way the first step is to install Catalyst suite, then from there decide how you want to view your TV. If you want to use the ATI suite, then use MMC.
    What OS are you running?

    Using a x800 as a tuner?

Hey guys. I currently have a 8800GTX for the past few months and its been fine. Now my 8800 only has HDTV out, and dosent have VIVO so i can record stuff. My old x800 did and worked perfectly with ATI's Multimedia Center. Now I am wondering if I can use my old x800 as a tuner and record TV again, I pulgged in my ATI and it recognized it as a VGA Contr but it needs drives, and I know I need the WDM to get the VIVO going, what do i need to do? and is there any way this can work?
Working...
