How do I enable the SPDIF output? There doesn't seem to be a button anywhere for this.
Is it broken in this Version?
No its broken since the dawn of time.

Ati appears to only have earlier versions of Catalyst available.
No, ATI have a lot of catalyst version available. Look at additionnal link in your latest catalyst downlaod page.

Isn't there any way to save the event name I entered so I know what I recorded. This seems ludicrous as I purchased this card mainly as a DVR solution and this file naming is very archaic.
I know it is (has been) possible because I also used it as a DVR when it was still analog based, and I saved my file with a custom name. But since I want to forget about the AIW crap I yet can't remember how to do that.

I also have a question about saved filenames when using The Digital Video Recorder. It only saves my recording as a combination of date, channel, time according to what is selected in the Style Box. Isn't there any way to save the event name I entered so I know what I recorded. This seems ludicrous as I purchased this card mainly as a DVR solution and this file naming is very archaic.
